Why a new GamuT cable?


• Cables and interconnects have a sound character that can be improved.
• The cable or interconnect is always a significant element in the design and trimming of the final performance of a component or a complete system.
• From our many years of know-how and expertise on designing speakers and electronics and our understanding of psychoacoustics, we have found a new way to construct high performing interconnects and speakers cables.

The Philosophy:


• To optimize time and impulse accuracy, minimize added resonance; construct escape paths for unwanted stored energy to allow for the music to flow undisturbed in its natural beauty.
 

 

Specifications

The construction:

• All design, components and materials are important: The conductive materials, mechanical and electrical design and insulation.
• We chose to use a multi stranded tightly wound Teflon insulated and silver coated maximum-length crystalline copper as our conductor and insulation.
• This basic conductor/isolator, that is one of the finest and most linear cable designs available today, is mainly compromised by one basic problem: Storage and delayed release of this stored energy back into the signal path.

The Gamut WormHole solution:

• A special fabric, containing a specific amount of carbon fiber threads, is applied to cover the surface of the individual Teflon insulated wires.
• A second layer of a very similar constructed fabric is applied to wound the positive and negative conductor into one common cable.
• By creating electrical connections to these two layers it is now possible to discharge the stored energy back to signal “zero” to minimize unwanted stored energy colorations.
